The Tips For Camping on the Beach
The Tips For Camping on the Beach By Adam N. When it comes to camping some of the first impressions someone gets is of mosquitoes, bears, and sleeping on a various assortment of twigs. Although some of this might be true to most camping scenarios, it is still an overall enjoyable experience. If you didn’t want to smell like “Off” insect repellent for a weekend, but still wanted to camp outside; I would suggest a beautiful weekend of camping on the beach. Where can someone go to camp on the b
Don’t Forget December 5th!
Hey Gang! I imagine you’re all collecting firewood in preparation for next week’s festive Bonfire Evening!! Gosh, it’s my favourite bank holiday of the year, as we all remember the day that Guy Siner left Allo Allo (which also corresponds with the last episode of Allo Allo). Anyway, in honour of the 5th December, I have written this poem: Bonfire Night Bonfire Night Everyone is happy We all feel right Let’s make a fire Stoke it real hot Throw on some wood And eat hot pot.

Soup in a styrofoam cup reminds me of bonfire parties at primary school. A painfully out of tune sing-song round the fire, warming your hands with Heinz Tomato, complete with lumps where it had burnt to the bottom of the enormous steel pan in the school kitchen. There are logistical considerations when making a soup designed to be drunk rather than eaten with a spoon. Too lumpy and there is a big risk of scalding your upper lip with a chunk of boiling vegetable. Too thin and it takes a decade t

Well I haven’t updated this in a while, keep wanting to do and then my mind goes blank at the last minute. Well Halloween’s gone and bonfire night, was pretty good this year :). Been doing a mixture of different work recently again, working on e-marketing and a few flyers. I’ve recently had some new work in too, which I will add to my portfolio as soon as I can! Created a new site called SCRPBK/SCRAPBOOK, this is currently in a draft stage and you can view it at www.scrpbk.tk.
A photo from fireworks night.
DSC_0096 Originally uploaded by fear_nessie I LOVE this picture. Extremely smoky as kids were literally throwing fireworks at each other in the field. Thankfully the neighbours decided to let off a few of their own fireworks so I actually got a decent shot of the night. Oh, and big sister, next time you decided to ‘just holiday in paris’ it would be nice if I knew about it before rather than discovering from browsing your photos on flickr

Our usual option for Fireworks Night was not on this year, so we thought rather than let the kids miss out, we would have a little token gesture at The Farm. We built a modest litte bonfire, and... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
Brockham Bonfire 2008
Set your wayback machine for last weekend (okay not so wayback) and join us as, despite the fact that it had been raining really very hard all day, and Flyingpops mum had already called us in the morning to cancel attending (she normally walks along with us), we decided (perhaps unwisely) to go to the Brockham Bonfire...the easiest route for us, as we discovered before, is to drive to Reigate, park the car in Morrisons car park and then pay to get the special bus service (which this year was act

Here's a fun short film of the lads watching fireworks in Crystal Palace Park on Bonfire Night and playing with blue light sabers.I'll post some photos next but I need to take a break from the movies as I have a huge amount of image processing to do for work. The next film will be from Inwood followed by a film from a trip to Wakehurst but that'll be in a couple of weeks. I've been learning a lot making these little shorts. Skills that I can bring to my work. Please enjoy and let us know what yo

Poor old Flicka dog didn’t make it. Rather than relying on the exchange of information via Older Niece and Daughter I spoke to my Dad yesterday. Flicka was very frightened by bonfire night and thunder. She’s a big dog, but she turned into a quivering jelly (8 stone of terror) at either noise. She also hated people saying goodbye (I think this is a collie personality trait.) On Sunday night Nieces had spent the weekend with their Dad and they were saying goodbye to him. The combination of bonf
